Zheng Lab – Bad Project (Lady Gaga parody)
*edit* We are the Hui Zheng lab at BCM and study Alzheimer’s Disease. Thanks everyone for your comments and words of encouragement! We had no idea this would spread like it has, but I guess some of these feelings are universal (and international!). This was all in good fun and took us only a few days to do the filming and editing. If you are caught in a bad project, best of luck and hope you can turn it around soon! Our submission for the Molecular and Human Genetics Retreat 2011 at Baylor College of Medicine. We decided to parody Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance with a science twist. Many thanks to On the Rocks for the dance moves, and tinyurl.com for the mouse video.
The Stevie Wonder Tribute (for Claire)
Aside from Wonder being one of my favorite singers growing up, I recorded this video specifically for someone who has inspired me the past 3 years, someone who I love and cherish very dearly, and someone who I will not be seeing anymore in a few days. Claire, you are my muse and have changed my life drastically! I know God has a plan and purpose for our lives and everything that has happened, has happened for a reason. I don’t regret anything we’ve shared or the love we’ve fought for. I know how much you love Stevie Wonder (you fangirl you!), so this one is dedicated to you!!
I love you and I’m just thankful I’ve gotten the privilege of loving you and being loved by you. Honestly, Dein Jeremy **NOTE: The video might be a tad bit off sync with the audio.
Couldn’t edit it precisely cuz my iMovie was trippin’ -__- mehh.. Enjoy nonetheless!**
Taking off from another world – Space Engine
EDIT: going to make a new video once the new version of space engine comes out in a few days 0.95, and the new video will have a fixed aspect ratio for true 1080p HD quality, Decided to test out some recording software and try making a little short movie using the soundtrack from the 2007 movie sunshine, the OST is: Surface of the Sun. Also using the game Space Engine at en.spaceengine.org, big thanks to both of these. Hope you guys enjoy this epic short journey out of this alien solar system in the large Magellanic cloud synced to the music, you can catch a glimpse of the milky way near the start of the film.
