Few at Gilmer schools take early retirement
Although only five Gilmer ISD teachers accepted the school’s offer to receive 10 percent of their salaries for early notice of retirement or resignation, the school is not currently planning any “reduction in force” triggered by an expected cut in state aid, School Supt. Rick Albritton said Friday.
