The Best Or Most Effective Days To Conceive

I often get emails from women who want help in picking the optimal day or days for conception.  Most people know that couples have “fertile days” and “non fertile days.”  In other words, there are some points in the month where you can have intercourse all you want and this would still not result in a pregnancy.  And, there are other times when even one act of intercourse can result in a pregnancy.  However, some couples have no idea as to when these periods occur. And others think that they know when this is, but are wrong in their calculations.  In the following article, I’ll tell you how to determine your most effective time for conception.

Step One:  Find Out If You Are Ovulating Regularly. (You Must Know Precisely When This Happens:)  The first thing that is required for conception is to know if and when you are ovulating.  This occurs when your egg ripens and becomes ready to be fertilized.  Sometimes women will think that if they are menstruating or having a regular period, then this must mean that they are ovulating regularly.  This is not always the case.  Some women ovulate irregularly and some, although they do ovulate each month, this may occur at different times during different months.  So, as an example, on one month, the egg may be ready on say, the 15th, while this might happen on day 20 on the following month.

The way to know when if and if your egg is ready for sure is to use ovulation predictors.  These test your bodily fluids for changes in hormones so that you are not having to guess or just pick a day and hope that you are correct.

Step Two: Decide If You Have A Preference Of One Gender Over Another: Do You Want A Boy Baby Or A Girl Baby?: If you are just wanting to get pregnant and you really don’t care whether mother nature gives you a male or a female infant, then you just use your predictor for a couple of months before you actually want to become pregnant to see if you are getting positives on a regular and constant basis.  If you are, then you would just target that same time of the month (when you are getting positives) for the time period that you want to conceive. (Of course, you would still use the tool to confirm that you are on track.)

If you are getting erratic or irregular results or you suspect that you are not ovulating regularly, then you will need to use your predictor on a regular basis ? being ready to strike quickly once you get a positive.  Now this method (conceiving when you get a positive) is going to make you more likely to get a boy.  If this is what you want, (or you don’t have a real preference as to gender) then you will really only need to make sure that you are alkaline and you’re pretty much good to go.

But, if you want a girl baby, then you will need to be able to anticipate your own time frame.  Because the optimal conception day for a girl baby is 3-4 days before the egg is actually ready.  You may want to look at saliva predictors in this case because they are better are giving you some warning that you are about to get a positive.  And, you will want to be acidic rather than alkaline so you may want to use PH testers to see where you are.

The bottom line is that the most effective day for conception really is on the day of ovulation.  This is going to be where both the egg and the sperm is at their most viable and healthy.  But, if you want a girl baby, your optimal day is going to be much earlier than this.  The real key is knowing when you are ovulating so that finding this day is much easier and more reliable.

I’ve put together a few websites that take a lot of the guess work out of choosing your baby’s gender and out of getting pregnant. You’ll find step by step instructions, resources for douche recipes and food PH lists, information on when to conceive, tips, support, and examples of ovulation predictors / PH testing strips.
