Few Days Off

Gordon the Big Engine has steamed in for his very own saga at Caledonian812 Productions with Off the Rails! Henry is cheeky to Gordon one day, who remarks to Percy that he, despite numerous problems (such as jammed whistles and burst safety valves) has never come off the rails like Henry and the Flying Kipper. He finishes with the statement that it is neither right or decent to come off the rails. A few days later, Gordon is furious when he is told to take a special goods train. His fire refuses to burn, so Edward has to come and shunt him onto the turntable. Gordon decides to play a trick by jamming the turntable, but rolls forward to far and crashes into a ditch. He spends the rest of the day there, being annoyed by singing boys, toads, tadpoles, and newts. However, Henry and James rescue Gordon that night, and he crawls home, “A Sadder and Wiser Engine.”
